Interpretation of FSH

FSH is a hormone secreted by basophils in the anterior pituitary gland. It is composed of glycoproteins and its main function is to promote follicular maturation. Human follicular stimulating hormone promotes the proliferation and differentiation of follicular granulosa cells and promotes the growth of the whole ovary. Effect on the testicular convoluted spermatophore can promote sperm formation.

FSH injection only increased the number of follicles and did not affect follicle maturation. The secretion of follicle stimulating hormone by hypothalamus controls the secretion of follicle stimulating hormone. During the menstrual cycle, the concentration of FSH in the blood and the amount of FSH excreted daily by urine change with the cycle. After menopause, the amount of FSH excreted in blood and urine increased.
It is a glycoprotein hormone secreted by basophils in the anterior pituitary and controlled by hypothalamus gonadotropin, whose function is to promote the development of follicles, and to promote spermatogenesis and spermatogenesis in men. Mainly promote ovarian follicle development and maturation. The concentration of FSH in blood was 1.5 ~ 10mIU/ml before ovulation, 8 ~ 20mIU/ml during ovulation, and 2 ~ 10mIU/ml after ovulation. The normal value is 5 ~ 40mIU/ml.

At 0 to 3 days after the start of the menstrual cycle, the initial stage of follicular growth, the granule cells in the follicle did not begin to secrete a large amount of estrogen, and the feedback regulation of the pituitary and ovary was at the initial stage. The concentration of follicular stimulating hormone measured in this stage became the basic follicular stimulating hormone level.

The basal follicle stimulating hormone level directly reflects the secretion function of ovary and is an important index to evaluate ovarian function clinically. The basal follicle stimulating hormone level is too high, reflecting the ovarian secretion function is bad.

After puberty begins, basal follicular stimulating hormone levels gradually increase with age.

It got its name from the initial discovery of its stimulating effect on the maturation of female follicles. Subsequent studies have shown that follicle stimulating hormone is one of the most important hormones in both sexes, regulating a range of physiological processes related to development, growth, sexual maturation during puberty, and reproduction, especially to stimulate the maturation of reproductive cells. Follicular stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (luteinizing hormone) play an important role in reproductive physiological process.

In the ovary, follicular stimulating hormone stimulates the growth of immature follicles until they mature into graff follicles. The follicle releases inhibin during growth to block further synthesis of follicle stimulating hormone. This mechanism ensures ovulatory selectivity. At the end of luteinization, follicular stimulating hormone levels also increased slightly, possibly related to the beginning of the next ovulation cycle.

In testis, follicular stimulating hormone (follicle stimulating hormone) increases the level of male hormone-binding protein synthesized by the cells of celtoli, induces the close binding of the cells of celtoli, and secretes inhibitory hormone, which plays a vital role in the process of spermatogenesis.
